Comments needed opposing CISFs!

The U.S. Department of Energy is yet again targeting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and/or low-income communities, often disproportionately burdened by pollution, with irradiated nuclear fuel consolidated interim storage facilities. DOE is using the ruse of "consent-based siting," floating bribes of potential funding, jobs, and infrastructure development, while calling it an Environmental Justice initiative! Comments opposing these environmentally unjust, racist schemes are needed! We have provided sample comments you can use to write your own, and DOE's instructions for how to submit them by the March 4 deadline. The anti-nuke, environmental, and EJ movements have stood in solidarity with numerous targeted communities over decades to fend off such dumps. We need to again now!
