More good news from New Mexico, as reported by the Las Cruces Sun News.

(Get YOUR organization, city, county, and/or state to pass a resolution opposing the Holtec/ELEA centralized "interim" (yeah, right!) storage facility for high-level radioactive waste, as well as the vast numbers of Mobile Chernobyl shipments -- through most states, many major urban centers, and the vast majority of U.S. congressional districts -- its opening would launch!)

As the NRC is arbitrarily and capriciously ending the environmental scoping public comment period on July 30th, please submit comments to the agency by its July 30th deadline. Sample comments you can use to prepare and submit your own are posted at Beyond Nuclear's website, including quick and easy webform versions provided by Public Citizen and Nuclear Information and Resource Service.
