In Australia, the Aboriginal population has been unfairly targeted with radioactive waste dumps and uranium mining. Stripped of their rights, Aborigines however continue to fight back to prevent waste dumping and expansion of uranium mining.

The Ranger uranium mine inside the World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park is leaking 100,000 liters of contaminated water into the ground beneath the park every day, a Government appointed scientist has revealed.
