Outgoing NRC Chairman Allison Macfarlane speaks at National Press Club

Outgoing NRC Chairman Allison MacfarlaneOn Nov. 17th, outgoing U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Chairman Allison Macfarlane (photo, left) spoke, and answered questions, at the National Press Club (NPC) in Washington, D.C. A video recording of the address, and Q&A session, is posted on the NPC website.

Macfarlane will leave the NRC on Jan. 1st. She is resigning her chairmanship four years early. She only served for about two and a half years. Beyond Nuclear issued a statement when Macfarlane announced her resignation.
