Arizona Republican drops state bill to define nukes as "renewable"

On February 25, 2010. Arizona State Republican Debbi Lesko pulled her bill to define nuclear power as a "renewable" energy source . She had been criticized for drafting legislation that would have gutted a growing solar industry in one of the sunniest states in the United States.
