Nuclear Regulatory Commission shows its true (nuclear) colors 

The nuclear power industry will have the right of approval when two new NRC commissioners are appointed this year. As if more proof was needed, this reveals once again the lapdog role played by a federal regulator which is Congressionally-mandated to safeguard nuclear safety. Instead, the very industry the NRC is supposed to watchdog will ensure it has friends on the Commission to continue to advance the industry's financial interests over public safety.
