Russia to build first nuclear reactor in Turkey

The Mediterranean Anti-Nuclear Watch network has decried today's signing of an agreement between Turkey and Russia to build a nuclear reactor on the Turkish coast. The $20 billion agreement would allow the construction of Turkey's first nuclear plant, a plan the country had previously rejected. For more, read the MANW statement.
