The trial of the "Kings Bay Plowshares 7" close to verdict

Kings Bay Plowshares 7 stories updated here.

On October 22, 2019, the federal government launched the criminal trial of seven American Catholic peace activists in Brunswick, GA. The trial is now coming to a close with the verdict expected soon. The defendants, known as the Kings Bay Plowshares 7, are accused of three felonies and a misdemeanor for their faith-based disarmament actions undertaken during April 4-5, 2018 when they cut through a padlock on a gate to enter onto the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.  Six U.S. Trident submarines are stationed at this coastal naval base. On command, each Trident submarine is capable of launching 24 Trident-2 missiles each armed with eight 100 kiloton D-5 thermonuclear warheads, enough to end all life on Earth.
