Environmental coalition recommends that NRC take no steps that would facilitate the development and licensing of reprocessing

Three-dozen organizations, including Beyond Nuclear, sent a letter on April 16th to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, expressing opposition to a relapse into reprocessing of high-level radioactive waste.
